Rusted Dreams - Original painting 24x36

I wonder about it’s story and all the places it might have been. I imagine the hopes and dreams that were carried by its driver. I wonder if it will see a new coat of paint or continue to show the magic of time.

This piece was inspired by Jamie Rood’s https://jamierood.com/shop-ls/product/slch-im/ photograph and when he gave me permission to paint this truck I spent months figuring out how to create that perfect patina & rust. Original textured acrylic painting. 24” tall by 36” wide on a gallery wrapped canvas.
